To obtain a copy of your accident report:

Call the 3rd precinct at (516) 573-6336, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8AM and 4 PM. Ask the clerk if your accident report is available and can be picked up. Accident reports will be available at a nominal fee at the precinct for 3 business days after the date of the accident.

Please note: Only accident reports that were taken in the patrol area of the 3rd Precinct are available to be picked up at the 3rd precinct. (Your report number should begin with 03 - xxxx - xx).  If you reported an accident to one of the other precincts you must obtain it from the precinct in which the accident took place.

Accident reports CANNOT be mailed or faxed.
